REHABILITATION SERVICES AT PINECREST
Restoring Strength,
Independence, and
Confidence
At Pinecrest, our rehabilitation program is designed to help each person reach their highest level of independence—whether you’re commuting from home or staying with us for short-term recovery or extended care. Our experienced therapy team provides comprehensive physical, occupational, and speech therapy services, all tailored to meet your unique needs in our spacious, state-of-the-art rehabilitation gym.
Our therapists work closely with your physician to create an individualized care plan that supports your recovery goals after surgery, injury, illness, or other medical challenges. We provide compassionate, evidence-based care for conditions such as arthritis, multiple sclerosis, stroke, joint replacement, neurological disorders, chronic illness, and more.

Physical Therapy
Our physical therapy program helps residents regain strength, balance, endurance, and mobility. Through personalized exercises and guided rehabilitation, patients build the confidence and physical ability to safely return to everyday life.
Occupational Therapy
Occupational therapy focuses on restoring independence in daily living. Whether it’s dressing, grooming, or eating, our occupational therapists provide adaptive techniques and specialized activities that help residents relearn essential skills and strengthen fine motor function.
Speech Therapy
Our speech-language pathologists assist individuals with speech, language, swallowing, and hearing challenges. By combining targeted exercises and patient-centered care, we help residents improve communication and regain vital swallowing abilities.
Restorative Nursing
For residents who have completed therapy or wish to maintain their physical abilities, our restorative nursing program offers ongoing support. More than 75% of our residents participate in this program, which focuses on preserving strength, coordination, and mobility through regular, gentle exercise and daily encouragement from our restorative aides.
At Pinecrest, rehabilitation is more than recovery—it’s about restoring confidence, purpose, and quality of life.
